THE CHARACTER

Seventeen centimetres
of paper that moves

The life of the party, bottled. A jolly beer and a few elegant wines, the kind of dinner guests everyone hopes to sit next to. A fun gift for a wine lover or a home bar.

FROM FILE TO DOLL

Four steps, about
thirty minutes

  1. Print at 100%Any home printer. 160-200 gsm paper holds a joint best. Never use "fit to page" - it changes the height.
  2. Cut along the edge of each partNail scissors are enough. No knife, no cutting mat, no special table.
  3. Pierce the marked holesA needle, an awl, or the tip of a compass. Every hole is marked where the joint belongs.
  4. Join with a bradDo not overtighten - the joint needs to move. No brads at home? A thread with a loose knot works the same way.
