THE CHARACTER
What does Zucchinio look like?
A long curly stem rises from Zucchinio's head, striped in dark and light green. Under the grin sit a lace collar and a rust bow tie, and under those a round squash belly. His sleeves and knee trousers are rust too, and his boots are black.
Zucchinio belongs to the Sweet Roots cast: one style, one scale. On a shelf the whole cast stands together as if they had always known each other.

How do you assemble a printable articulated paper doll?
- Print at 100%Any home printer works. Paper of 160-200 gsm holds a joint best, and standard office paper works too. In the print window set the scale to Actual size or 100%, so the doll stays about 17 cm (6.7 in) tall.
- Cut along the edge of each partNail scissors are enough: no knife, no cutting mat, no special table.
- Pierce the marked holesA needle, an awl, or the tip of a compass. Every hole is marked where the joint belongs.
- Join with a bradKeep it loose enough for the joint to move. No brads at home? A thread with a loose knot works the same way. For thin arms, choose small brads: 4.5 mm round head, 8 mm shank, one per joint.
What do you get?
Three files: a US Letter PDF, an A4 PDF, and a PNG. The link arrives by email right after payment, and the files stay in your account forever. They download on an iPhone too. Nothing is shipped.

A personal use license comes with every doll, so you can print as many as you like for yourself and your family. Selling finished dolls works with a commercial license. Write to us and say what you would like to make. The files themselves stay with you and are not for resale.
